Japanese speech contest in Kanto Koshinetsu area
was held in Saitama and Ms. KATHRIARACHCHI ERANGA UPULEE from Sri Lanka in A2 class
participated as our school representative.
The influence of big typhoon was worried, but
the speech contest was managed safely and 16 participants form various countries showed wonderful speeches. Ms.Upulee also made a speech
with a feeling of dignity and won a "Saitama Prefectural Governor
Prize"!
She was very nervous,
but after the speech she said “I am glad that I made a speech in Japanese and
got a prize though I have never made a speech in my own language." Surely this
experience will be a great confidence.
Congratulations!
